Prospectus - Settling-in
At Marlborough House we want all children to feel safe, stimulated and happy in the absence of their parents.
We want the parents to have confidence in both their children's well-being and the care they receive during their time at school.
We aim to make Marlborough House a welcoming place where children settle quickly and easily. Consideration will be given to the individual needs and circumstances of children and their families.
Guidance will be given to help parents understand their children's behaviour.
We are also able to offer advice and guidance in areas that may be affecting your child to fulfil their full potential. This could be a family matter that you would wish to discuss with a member of staff and is confidential.
Before a child starts to attend Marlborough House, parents will be provided with information about The Nursery School (including a prospectus and policies) and will be supplied with forms to be returned to The Nursery School detailing information about contact details, allergies, illnesses etc.
Before a child is due to start, we will invite the child and his/her parents/carers to visit The Nursery School. This will give the child a chance to get to know the environment and staff and get involved in activities and enable the parent/s to see how The Nursery works to help all children achieve their best, feel safe and gain personal and social confidence for their start of their learning ahead.
