About Marlborough House Nursery School

At Marlborough House, we believe that:

"Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfill their potential."

Marlborough House Nursery School consists of two preschool settings in Long Ditton and Thames Ditton, Surrey.

The setting in Long Ditton has been run by Mrs Beth Brim since 2004 and achieved an

'Outstanding in all areas'

Ofsted in June 2010.

It is set on the edge of Long Ditton recreational ground with the use of a dedicated grass area and tarmac area for play.

In September 2012 Mrs Brim took over the running of the setting in Thames Ditton now known as Teddies at Marlborough House. This is set close to Thames Ditton Infants School and has the use of the main and small hall for additional activities an outside area and use of the facilities at the Infant School which is ideal for help with preparing children for school as the majority of our children from this setting move on to here.

Both settings are Nursery schools, open during term times, with an emphasis on a preschool year, to prepare children for the transition of school.

We expect a high standard from our staff and endeavour to continue with their training to ensure this is kept and built on.
